Who are we?

Lead by Natarsha Wendt, the Director/Business Consultant of Wendt & Associates, our main focus is to ensure a very high standard of customer service and delivery of services to our end client.

My role at Newton Investment Management as a Lead Business Analyst is to:

  • Support NIM Project Manager(s) on allocated projects by applying business analysis skills.
  • Manage the allocated workload and provide regular updates to Project Manager(s)
  • Understand, to the level required, Newton’s project process in order that work carried out is in alignment with said process and requirements.
  • Act as subject matter expert to the project(s) allocated in all Business Analysis related activities

  • Produce documentation to the standard required
  • Participate in training efforts, course building etc as required
  • Manage time and tasks based on project priorities
  • Provide regular reporting as required and appropriate
  • Travelling as required to other sites as project demands dictate

Since joining Newton Investments in December 2009 I have been very fortunate to be part of some very exciting and challenging projects. The first phase of my first project required me to document test scripts, test the system, process map workflows, write procedures and train key staff for the businesses new scanning software and document management system. Upon renewing my contract for another 6 months in June, I was asked to lead a team of 10 people and streamline 6500 client files in preparation for scanning using our new software.
At the beginning of July I interviewed and recruited 10 staff member and began the task of streamlining 6500 client files. My team and I delivered Phase 1 of the project ahead of schedule.
Upon returning from Christmas break, we progressed to Phase 2. Phase 2 is due to complete 30 June, 2011.
My role during Phase 2 of the project has been to Project lead the scanning solution across Edinburgh, Leeds and London. This includes reporting to the steering group, training members of the front office on the scanning solution software and ensuring the project meets its deadline.
