The first phase of my first project required me to document test scripts, test the system, process map workflows, write procedures and train key staff for the businesses new scanning software and document management system. Upon renewing my contract for another 6 months in June, I was asked to lead a team of 10 people and streamline 6500 client files in preparation for scanning using our new software.
At the beginning of July I interviewed and recruited 10 staff member and began the task of streamlining 6500 client files. My team and I delivered Phase 1 of the project ahead of schedule.
Upon returning from Christmas break, we progressed to Phase 2. Phase 2 is due to complete 30 June, 2011.
My role during Phase 2 of the project has been to Project lead the scanning solution across Edinburgh, Leeds and London. This includes reporting to the steering group, training members of the front office on the scanning solution software and ensuring the project meets its deadline.
